The modern, sustainable version of classic book pack for uni, office and travel, the 30 litre backpack (OL) is a most popular day pack – not least because it’s made from recycled polyester fabric. The pack is robust, reliable, amazingly comfortable and has plenty of space, yet is still very compact. It’s specially designed to carry a laptop, books, documents and A4 files (there’s loads of room for these in the large main compartment). The padded compartment at the back of the pack is designed to accommodate a 14″ laptop – but, as it doesn’t extend to the base of the pack, your device is fully protected from impact damage. There’s a pocket on the front for smaller items and a special pouch for documents. One feature that has been retained from the classic 1990s version is the side compression straps. These allow better load distribution and, if you’re not carrying a laptop in the rear compartment, they can be used to reduce the volume of the pack.
